      Hi All,

Guess I have to head down to those school uniform supplier get those blue shorts. Don't know what happended to the uniform supplier of Radin Mas. Most parents in the quene said the blur blue short either too short or too long for thier DS. I guess maybe this time the QC have some problem.

        buds:
Socks you can easily get at Bata. Not too long and not to short. About SGD $6.95 for 2 pairs of black socks in a pack.

Just bought my kid's black socks at $2 per pair with the school's operator - with school label on the socks too - realise now that boy, that must be a steal then!

Just a word of caution: When I bought DD1's sch shoes (with sch colours and logo) from the supplier on orientation day at about $13, I thought it was a steal too then. The shoes gave way after barely 1 term of use! And my DD confirmed that her friends had the same problems too. In the end, we went back to Bata; pay more (about $20-30) but lasts the whole year and more.

Hopefully, yours is really value for money and not a waste of money.

They initially used those \"official\" school socks with school name and logo too. Skali, the following year the school decided to discontinue. Personally, i still find schools that have plain shoes and socks policy still better, regardless the colour. Yes, radiantmum... if you compare to even Bata at that price you got, it IS definitely a steal boy! Like Schellen, our Bata ones has now lasted 2yrs. In fact, next year still can use. šŸ˜‰ Dowan to waste money. Most to most can buy one or two more new pairs for next year since both DDs going to the same school. šŸ˜„

                  Hi Titank!

I asked the staff in the General Office, and she said that the school is fine as long as the shoes are plain white.

I have query on PE attire material. As advised by the seller of the school uniform/PE attire, the PE attire required no ironing. It is said that the material can absorb sweat, is the kind of dry fit.

After the 1st wash of the PE attire, I can see the "wrinkles" on the shirt. And turn to the reverse side of the shirt and iron it with extreme low temp.

                    Anyone have this probelm?

My son needs to wear the formal school attire everyday - even when there is PE lesson which is thrice a week. So they have to change in and out of their PE attire before and after each 30min PE lesson. Except for the P1 children, everyone must wear the formal school attire at all times in school, other than during PE lessons and sports-related CCA. Just wondering - is this a common school rule? I find it quite ridiculous because most children will simply wear the PE attire under the formal attire for convenience sake and it is so hot to do so in our Singapore weather.

For DDs' school, from P2 onwards they hafta wear their

pinafores over their PE attire which i do like cos the girls
these days mature quite fast and their body changes are
quite significant. Hence the teachers insist that by 2nd
year in pri school they should cover up those thighs after PE.

Both my girls are tomboys and they tend to sit anyhow.

Not all the time crossed legged...

So, in may case this works fine with me.
