MMM:
Ours are about 6 years old and apparently, the chemical washing that we did from time to time had damaged certain parts of the aircons and they won't last that many more times of chemical washing... may need to have them changed by next year or so. :moneyflies:

Does that mean chemical washing is not good???

Yes, and we just found out. It will cause certain parts to rust
chemical washing is necessary for certain condition of aircon.. esp when it is very dirty.

If it rusts due to chemical wash, means the washing is not done properly. The tech is supposed to remove all traces of the chemicals after washing..

Oh! After reading thru the posts then I remembered I have a fish pond too. I never gave it much thought. Does the pump consume alot of electricity?

You can check the power rating ( like 500W, 1000W etc... ) or ask your hubby to check.. then we tell you it has big appetite or not.... πŸ˜‰

then your pond need to instal UV filter to kill the algae

mine has no algae, water crystal clear, can see to the bottom, has not changed water for 7 years

I read this and I'm tempted to ask: \"Anyone here has a swimming pool at home and forgot about it as well?\"

Vk2010, Busymum, php, Happy Mama? Anyone?
