      hi

My girl is now 14 months and we have been attending JG playnest since my girl was 7months. We enjoy the class very much. There are story time, sing song, dancing, outdoor play time… puppet shows etc. The teachers are very animated and lively making the lessons very intersting. My girl enjoys the lessons each time.

IMO, it really depends on which teacher is teaching the class. Some are wonderful, others are just ok.

                  Hello!

Has anyone here sent their kids to Julia Gabriels starting from Playnest and subsequently sent them to Chiltern House for Nursery to Kindergarten?

I would like some feedback on your experiences, as i am thinking of sending my daughter via this route.

However, i also do like somesort of montesorri education, as i believe that it helps instill better self-discipline, self learning, and other merits that we all know of etc.

I am a FTWM living at bukit timah, so i am the playgroups & nursery must be of close proximity. My MIL or maid will bring my daughter to school.

Can anyone give me any advise or alternatives to the ones i have mentioned?

                  THanks!

                    Hello Pixy,

I have sent my 2nd daughter to Julia Gabriels but my daughter is unsettled and keep on crying. My wife and I went to various other schools in that vicinity such as Growing up gifted (http://www.gugifted.com) and Genius Space (http://www.genius-space.com). Finally we ended enrolled in Genius Space. My daughter is alot more calmer and she enjoyed herself during the trial lessons. My wife whom is a Secondary School teacher scrutinised their curriculum and of course as concerned parents we have the every right to 'interrogate' the teachers. Well, we were satisfied and impressed with the curriculum structure. I believed you should give them a try. I have always look out for the best for my daughter, thus every extra mile I did for her is fulfilling and enriching. This is my personal experience, however I believed that parents will share my sentiments in a way or another.
                    Take care!

hi we liked elisa for playclub in forum. she’s professional with the parents/ caregivers and yet can handle the kids in a loving way. when me and dd were in her playclub class, i was quite surprised to see that despite her young age, she can manage the class superbly.

one of the senior teachers is also good but she’s one of those teachers who quite "heck-care" those kids who come with maids. but since i bring my dd, she shower quite a lot of attention on her. so depends on u - if u mind that she’s such a teacher. u can pm me for her name.
