Actually, chances quite high. But you may like to know that there was a year where 2B only had 9 vacancies. Same went for 2C.

May i know what is my chances are? For Catholic High Phase 1 take up rate for 2012 = 91; left 149 for 2A1 & 2A2 (total 240), faintz. I m at 2A2 .....sweat!

Phase 2B
(a) For a child whose parent has joined the primary school as a parent volunteer not later than 1 Jul 2011 and has given at least 40 hours of voluntary service to the school by 30 Jun 2012. Thus your friend's school will issued her a letter confirming the above and she has to bring this letter for the registration next Thursday, 19 July 2012 or Friday, 20 July 2012.

Phase 2C
For all children who are eligible for Primary One in the following year and are not yet registered in a primary school.
Just go down to your choice of school with the
(1) The child’s Singapore Birth Certificate
(2) The child’s Singapore Citizenship Certificate for those who are not Singapore Citizens at the time of birth
(3) Singapore NRIC of both parents or Entry / Re-entry Permits of parents if they do not possess Singapore NRIC
(4) The child’s Immunisation Certificates

Consider your options carefully before registering, especially those in Phase 2B and 2C.
