Will be stopping next year. He was doing both Molin and Tien Hsia and I thought I should drop 1 cos I need to assess if he has much homework for next year before deciding other classes for him.
Is it still the same teacher? -
Hueyshan
No, it’s a different teacher cos the preschool teachers do not teach primary levels. However, the name of the teacher is not known yet.
How do you find Molin as compared to Tien Hsia ? -

But bear in mind most kids wear PE attire during \"hot\" season, so that means PE attire will be worn more than school uniforms when viewed on annual basis.hueyshan:
Hi,
do you know if 2 sets of PE attire and 2 sets of uniform are sufficient?
I have no idea .....
I think it would depend on how often you intend to do laundry and ironing, right?
I bought 3 sets of uniform and 2 sets of PE attire. -

I thought during the orientation they just reminded us that cannot suka suka wear PE attire on non-PE days even if weather is hot? -

My boy prefer Tien Hsia over Molin cos Tien Hsia is more \"fun\".Hueyshan

Material wise, Tien Hsia looks more \"professional\".
Content wise, Molin is more \"chim\".
My boy says he has more words to learn in Molin compare to Tien Hsia.
I gather from this forum that Molin is good for child who needs to do higher chinese.
But personally, I think Tien Hsia has got good program and is able to interest the child in chinese. -

ya, exactly. Initially, I bought 1 set of uniform and 2 set of PE attire. After hearing the above reminder, I bought 1 more set of uniform.wa_si_kiasu_lau_peh:

Anyone has any idea where to get the child name tag? -
hueyshan:
hahaha ...it sure looks like it ...... cheers P1-K's parent ...
My boy's in P1K this year and they have very good form teacher and 2nd language teachers this year.
Is P1K classroom still on the ground floor next year ? -

Teacher will give instructions on when they can start wearing PE attire everyday. I remember it's around mid year when the weather turns hot. If hv CCA like badminton or netball in the mornings, then can also wear PE attire for the whole day. It really depends as there's a new principal next year, he might enforce new rules, really cannot tell yet. That's why when a child is new to primary sch, to be able to take instructions & come home to relay them to you is very impt.
Name tag, can make yr own. I thot sch gave one name tag during orientation. No ? -
P1-K next year will be on the 3rd flr … different form teacher from current P1-K.
I did not receive any name tag … any parents receive it?
I thought we have to sew the name onto the uniform, hence not sure where to get those cloth name tag.
