Neurofeedback Brain Training - Community Thread

Anyone heard of or tried this? Am thinking of doing this with my boy who has attention issues and difficulty staying on task. As a result his studies have been going down hill. At P4, I don't know how he is going to cope or do well with the higher workload which is just going to increase.
Neurofeedback is Supposed to help with attention, focus, coordination issues, memory, emotional . Helps autistic, add, adhd, asperger's, brain injury, even top performing like CEOs, NASA astronauts, competitive sportsmen, ballerinas etc use it to achieve top performance.
Apparently can seriously help to improve grades by improving brain cognitive functions.
Seems that this is what centres like BrainFit studios , Spectrum Learning etc are using to great success - acadamically as well as cognitively.
Would appreciate feedback from anyone who has tried or heard of this.

Hi,
Need advise - Have you heard of neurofeedback before in improving or correcting child’s behaviour etc…?
Searched through the net and in Spore, there’re quite a number of centre providing this.
Any of your kid went through this? Is it really result-oriented? Any recommendations?
Really appreciate your comments. -
