2012 P1 Registration Exercise for 2013 In-Take

By the way, what are the chances for Fairfield Methodist Phase 2c (1 - 2km)?

Can anyone shed some light on how schools handle a vacanted place made by a last minute withdrawral under Phase 2B (made during Phase 2C registration time) ?
Is (or should) the vacanted place be added into phase 2C or is (or should) it
be given back to the Phase 2B unsuccessful applicants who would have already immediately placed their child's names in the particular school's waiting list once Phase 2B results are out ?
Just as an example (see below link), looking at the \"Notes\" under ACS(Junior) detail breakdown summary for P1 Enrolment from 2010 to 2012 (P1 Registration in 2009 to 2011 respectively) it seems that the former approach of adding the vacanted place (from Phase 2B) into Phase 2C is practised. Is it the official method to handle such vacanted place ?
If this is the official method used by all schools then wouldn't the successful Phase 2B applicant who had withdraw his/her place, or should it be the \"imperfect\" system, have indirectly \"robbed\" a Phase 2B parent of a place down the line .... ???

During P2C, if any successful applicant in earlier phases withdraws, the vacated place will go to P2C.Can anyone shed some light on how schools handle a vacanted place made by a last minute withdrawral under Phase 2B (made during Phase 2C registration time) ?

I called the school to check and according to them for the past few years those staying 1-2km don't even have the chance to ballot.
I am staying less than 1km and already worried can't get in. -

No point worrying over something that you can't control. Just get your backup plan ready and wait for the day to come.

LOLMum:
SC priority over PR only applies for Phase 2C. So if the parents of PR do their PV in their choice school, they will still get priority for Phase 2BDesertWind:
I must be really dumb but does the above numbers of places taken up confirmed already? Or need to do another round to sort out citizens and PRs? I mean, those children already under siblings priority PRs also got in already right?
So wherefore is the citizen priority...? :?
As long as the supply is more than demand, everyone gets in.
When supply shrinks, balloting kicks in then sg citizens regardless of distance gets priority over pr.
So 2b onwards...is a nitemare for pr.
