      :thankyou: everyone 🙂

      Double E,
Do you know why KKH say it might not be suitable for ASD kids?
Dunno if it's bcos my kid too old or my kid is verbal.

Did u attend the course in KKH as well?
Yes, I attended the course in KKH. Is useful. Not sure why they would say is not suitable for ASD kids cos my boy has mild ASD.

No, in fact, my boss is very supportive. I always tell my friends I have the best boss in the world. She lets me take urgent leave, child care leave, telecommute as and when needed. If I need to come in late cos I need to bring my son to see therapist, she is ok too.

But of course, I have to make sure I deliver what is require of me and there’s certainly no expectation of me to stay late etc. She did not mark me down at all, in fact, she gives me a good grade that yields good bonus. So that’s why I am still stuck with my job even though I have interview offers because I don’t think I can ever find any other bosses who are so understanding. As long as my boy needs therapies, I think I will continue with my current job.

          How about you?

I play DVDs for my gal to build her exposure in vocab and sentence structure, with the hope that she can imitate, which she sometimes does 😄 . DVDs like Dora, Elmo and any toddler educational stuff which is of interest to her suffice for me. But agree with slmkhoo that we still need to practice with the child.
