Anyone use this Maths assignment book (thinkingMath@onSponge) ?

      Any comments?

My DD is using it. Quite a lot of challenging questions. My DD can not handle on her own. Good for high achievers.

My girl's school ask them to get but after half a year, did not even complete the 1st chapter.
You check with the teacher whether they can do at home at their own pace. If they give green signal, then you can start doing at home.

You are right, should get my girl to get back the book from the teacher. The teacher wants them to keep the book in school so if there is any time slot, will get them to do. Seems like no time slot available as many books were required to buy but didnt touch at all. Teachers now rely on parents to teach too.

Yes, you check with (request) the teacher. Since you already bought the book, you must make full use of it. May I ask you what other books your school asked you to buy? Thank you.

Other books are English related eg, the grammer book (did not touch at all).

                Hi

I know my requests are always left of field, but can someone respond, please. I am looking for mathematical reasoning books, at P3 to P5 level. Eg, if I went to Pizza Express with two X buy one adult menu, and get a kid menu at half the price, would that be cheaper than buying any other deals on offer.

Told you it was left of field.

                      Starz,

                      Go get p1 books.
We personally like visible math for basics as they have worked examples and simon eio for intermediate proficiency.
