      hueyshan:
P1-K next year will be on the 3rd flr .. different form teacher from current P1-K.

I did not receive any name tag ... any parents receive it?

I thought we have to sew the name onto the uniform, hence not sure where to get those cloth name tag.
The school gave a paper name tag during orientation. Just need to get a plastic holder will do, I think. No lah, no need to sew name onto uniform lah...

hi hueyshan, is the room that we went the other day for orientation the room that the kids will be using permanently ? Also, will the room be airconditioned the whole time ? soree, I was rushing off to buy the school books so didnt stay in the classroom for very long.

Also, is the reporting time on 04 Jan 2010 also 12.45pm ?

Tao Nan students wear name tags everyday as part of their uniform. Just English & Chinese names on the tag, no class. It is Not the piece of paper name tag we had for orientation.

Since they did not issue the name tag and it is not on the booklist (like the report book) nor with the uniform seller, I presume it would given or sold to us when school starts.

Do they wear name tags? :? Only prefects have name tags.

And nope, no aircon unless using the container cabin for lessons.

Heard that they may reconsider moving out of the existing premise. May be doing the upgrading and staying at the current premise at the same time.

hope so! I stay so close to the school. Faintz if move to Bedok or Tampines!

Heard from a parent who's child is going Tao Nan next yr, that some of the classrooms are airconditioned. Not sure if they are cabins you are referring to...and heard that the airconditioning is sponsored by parents...true?

That is not true. They don't wear name tags at all.
You can see some pictures or videos on the school's website.

The paper name tags are for P1 students only and they don't need to put that on after the first one or two weeks - unless they change it for 2010.
