Your kid is good. On the average, most kids attempt less than 15 questions. For the question on how many times Tim change direction, the answer is 8.Haha. Think most will say tough, DD too.
Those who find it easy will likely be the top 30 & gold
Did your child attempt all 20 questions? Mine tried 17 but already found 3 wrong so far. Her classmates mostly attempt 10-15 question
Oh. Asking my P6 DS to try so that the sister can check tomorrow. He also found it tough & cannot finish the 20q in 1.5 hours. (he managed a silver last year) -

One of DD's friend attempted all 20q, but apparently, the friend admitted that she could not do many of them, so just anyhow guess.

Now is to wait for the results.....think the top 10 schools and top 30 individuals should be out by end Jul while the remaining probably 1st week of Aug. (went to check last year's thread )

Do keep us update. By the way, which school is she from?

But still, thanks for the compliment.
Honestly, while we did hope for it, we did not expect DD to really squeeze into special round....it's already a bonus to us. We had bet more on the elder brother who had greater interest in Maths, but he only managed Silver in most of the competitions.
DD is as usual luckier

Hi there, my girl is currently in P1 now. I m thinking of signing her up for
Mathematical Olympiad Training Modular Course(MOT) at the Maths Hub. They told me for her age(under 8), she is required to pass a Modular Diagnostic Paper.
can any parents give me some ideas of what kind of questions will they be asking? Does anyone has any MOT2 questions for my girl to try out. -
