Hi does anyone know if I will to apply for PV, who is the one that will make final decision as to whom will get selected? is it the principal who will have the final say?

The number differs among schools. A study of the past P1 phase 2b registration statistics might give you some clues. Call the school of your choice and ask them directly. They might give you an answer. Some schools are more transparent than others.

Not necessary. But if you have connections with the principal, it would definitely help!

How many PVs does Nan Chiau Primary School accept? What was the number last year? Where can I find similar information for Compassvale Primary School and Rivervale Primary School?

It's depend on the school. Mine is selected by a teacher that in-charge of all PV.

We got rid of PR over SC so it is now back to SC versus SC. Will we see the end of phase 2A and Phase 2B???

We got rid of PR over SC so it is now back to SC versus SC. Will we see the end of phase 2A and Phase 2B???

Another strong reason for PR to convert to SC.
Impact will start in yr 14 registration 2B/2C due to more PV and GRL.
For clan and church, it will be yr13 registration.

The PV application period will start around July 2013 or so for those born in 2009. You need to check with the respective schools. They will decide their PV list by end 2013. You start the volunteer duties in 2014.
