Spoke to DS1’s form teacher last Friday.

He said that for P5 next year, there will be a dedicated teacher for each subject. No longer one teacher taking on English, Science and Maths, and another teacher taking Chinese.

      Keroppi30 : Is it also like that for next year’s P4 ?

I thought this is a good idea -> have a specialised teacher for the subject. But it also means that parents will need to talk to 4 teachers instead of 2, if you want to find out the progress for the child. Wonder if I will need to see 4 teachers in next year’s PTC… major logistics headache for the school !

I'm not sure about the new arrangements but you are right there would definitely be major logistics problem for next year's PTC. I'll check with dd when school reopens.

                  Hi jovan_mummy,

The school will give them past years CA and SA papers when preparing for the year’s exams, so parents don’t need to let them do at home.

                  Cheers !

                        Dear parents

I’ve just joined this forum as my son has just started his P1 this year. I realised there’s this SRT coming up sometime in January. Appreciate if you can share with me what this test is all about and its objective.

                        cheers
                        Sam
