I think 1 dismissal pass is not enough!

Agreed. Wonder why they only gave out one. Will be surprised if nobody EVER requested for more.

Ya maybe photocopy a few extra standby where would give a letter of authorisation letter. The dismissal pass is for parent to enter the gate or can drive in?

        Dear Parents,

Could you adv why do you choose Radin Mass Primary? :? I noted that some are not even staying nearby... so what makes this school so attractive that you prepared to make your kids traveled all the way to this school??

          Hi jo.ong!

You are staying in Bukit Merah, right? So, I suppose you know why parents staying in this area prefer to send their children to RMPS.

As for those who do not stay in Bukit Merah, RMPS is likely to be their alma mater. For others, they could originally be staying near RMPS, but moved to a new place, and yet prefer not to disrupt their children's studies by changing to new schools.

By the way, I don't think you have reported at the Newbie thread yet, right? Can you please report yourself there? This is a SOP in KSP.com. It has been more than three months since you joined. πŸ˜‰

In addition, can you also please update your profile? Your children's age are not shown in your profile.

            Dear Madam (jo.ong),

Why don't we discuss at the Bukit Merah Thread where there is some discussion on Radin Mas Primary? I believe there is more info you can get it there.

I just reported into the Newbie thread... no idea i need to do that

The reason why I am asking these qns are that why do parents need to put kids into the so-called good schools? How do you term school as good or bad? Based on PSLE results? That's just the overall scoring, not your kids. If the kids are not bright and are placed into a competitive environment (school), what's the results? No wonder kids these days are committing suicide or have the intention to commit suicide... who's the culprit?

                  Hi Jo.ong,

Different people have different yard stick in selecting of the primary school of their choice, some mainly just look at distance, PSLE results, types of ECA's offer, school environment, security & safety etc.

Here are my selection evaluations for selecting primary school, can serve as a reference:

                  (1) Types of Awards the School Achieved.
                  (2) Past PSLE Performance
                  (3) Portfolio of the Principals
                  (4) Distance from Home, Availablity of School Bus or Public Transport.
                  (5) School Environment.
                  (6) Availability of nearby BASC from Primary School.
                  (7) Safety & Security. (Need to cross big junction raod if alight from bus stop)

Radin Mas Primary had been performed very well since the Principal which came from Rulang Primary. Before 2000, Radin Mas Primary was not even a shiny star in Bukit Merah area.

Seriously I was considering to put my DS in River Valley Primary & only at the last minute I switch to Radin Mas Primary. Only consider that it must be convenient that all just that simple.

Take your time to target the primary school. Good luck.

My criteria probably more on the teachers who will be teaching my child, the school environment must be friendly and nearby... neighbourhood schools should be alright. πŸ˜‰

Well, this year's top PSLE scorer is from a neighbourhood school. πŸ˜‰

                        Hi All,

Did anyone join Radin Mas Parentlink? How is this all about? 1 year = $5, 6 years at $20. I asked the school they said it is like a Alumni
                        ?? :?
I did...for 6 years...it is something like an 'alumni' where parents get priorty to sign children for certain course if there are limited spaces
