A37: Current serving executive committee members of the Residents’ Committee (RC), Neighbourhood Committee (NC), Citizen’s Consultative Committee (CCC), Community Club Management Committee (CCMC) and the Community Development Council (CDC) are eligible to register their children under Phase 2B. Please approach your Constituency Office for more information.

i emailed my chairman , and they checked with the constituency director , they say CSC ( constituency sports club/council) falls under Community Club Management Committee (CCMC) because its a club under the CC , and CSC falls under CCC , so i am confused … , i want to know who told CSC doesnt fall under the phase 2b catergory ??

@mikeveronreilly, you have already answered your own question (refer to A37). Sub committee under CCMC or CCC does not entitled P2B Priviledge.
CCMC does not have CSC as sub committee.

I recalled about a month or so, somebody posted on this thread regarding being member of CSC for 5years but realized she is not entitled to 2B when she wanted to register her child this year.
CCMC does not have CSC as sub committee.

Only members of CCMC entitles the P2B, all subcomm under it does not, like IAEC, MAEC, CSC, WEC, YEC etc.

To be safe join RC member as a beginner.

Phase 2B is only applicable to schools fall under your own GRC.

For example: let’s say I am staying in Toa Payoh, I am only entitled to Bishan-Toa Payoh GRC. I can’t apply Nanyang, SCGS, St Nicks, ACS, RGPS.
But I can apply just name a few good ones: Peichun, Catholic High

The CO working in the CC will just simply order the printing of tickets from this guy’s company. As the value is only less than $500, she will just go ahead and conveniently order. Which I don’t like, CO simply throws the invoices to me to issue cheque. Never even discuss with the committee.

Another case, one RC member from other zone, he is a professional photographer. Many big events, the organiser will ask this RC member to be the photographer. He is charging the RC. Price range $180 - $360 depending on the length of the event.
I thought out of passion, RC member should not take a single cent which is for personal benefit. He can charge developing fee, photographs and CD fee.

And again CO will simply and conveniently asking this photographer to do all the events.

Hi, if you believe there are concerns, then it is better to discuss with Auditor and Chairman first, any member can and should raise their concern. Even though we are volunteer only but ultimately we are the ones that sign the cheques. CO only helps prepare quotes and issue cheque and suay suay somebody complain then a whole lot of defending and creditability at sake.

Hi, you can volunteer at Radin Mas SMC but must be with CCC or CCMC.
If you are EM with CCC/CCMC, then you will be eliglible to choose the GRC that you serve (Radin Mas) and reside (TP).

Having said that, it is not easy to be accepted into CCC/CCMC as most of the members are veteran. And no use going to MP cos there is nothing much they can do.

Think there is a Radin Mas Community Centre so still got chance to join as Radin Mas CCMC.

But is there a Radin Mas CCC? Only heard of Tanjong Pagar CCC.

Not easy to get into CCMC or CCC. Unless someone from the committee recommends you.[/quote]You can volunteer at Radin Mas CC but need not be in the CCC/CCMC, there are many other committees such as YEC/WEC/SNEC/AC etc to join. Can check on the pa website on how to become the volunteer. Being a volunteer in the CC is not easy as it takes mths for your application to be processed and being recognised as a committee member.
