      Ladies,

I am a bit stumped. What is Cat in the Hat learning Library series??? Are they the ones that are colour coded??? Can share share :please:

I must go and check my DS's collection ....

Cat in the Hat Learning Library series introduce non-fiction contents e.g. animals, weather, life cycle etc to beginner readers... The books are written by different authors, but they did not forget Dr Seuss's usual style of wacky stories and funny sentences...
So far i saw afew books in the library, but never in the local bookstores.

      Ok ok, I see.

Thanks for the clarification iLoveChubby :hugs:

Does it make a difference if publised in UK or US?...[/quote]It's not a secret, it's from fishpond website, similar to bookdepository.

There are words that are spelt different in UK and US English like UK it's favourite, colour, labour but in US English, it's favorite, color and labor. There are differences in some English terms too like UK English it's tap, petrol, etc but in US English it's faucet, gasoline, etc. I'm told there are slight differences in grammar too but I'm not so well-versed in the study of Eng language to provide examples. In school, UK Eng is being taught.

I'm not sure if you have noticed but there are UK and US version of Harry Potter. I'm a supporter of UK version LOL. The same for the shopaholic series. There are others I guess but these are the 2 series that I know.

I doubt the kids will be confused but I make sure that dd1 uses UK Eng in her spelling.

Can anyone share how long does Nook Depository take to deliver their books.

According to my order history, they dispatched the item on the 11th of July.
