My DS is in Blue. I think he might be stronger in Science. I don't think they group them according to strengths. Maybe random?

Not sure if random. just thinking either by application no/ strong interest / marks in selection test subjects. Don't think Alphabet order.

might be they have another group NMOS Top 30 for Maths/Science (not sure). Anybody DS/DD Einstein members or have MO certs (Gold / Platinum) then might know that category?

I think it's random. DS1 in Blue last year, SMOPS Platinium, now same class as Lim Li. Strong in Math & Science, but not Einstein member, not NMOS or SPSO Top 30. His classmate without any of the above, was given CO too, no special preference for GEP too. So I think as long as the student is strong in Maths & Science, shows potential during the selection test & camp, should be able to get in. Btw, NMOS Special Round results is out.

it really depends on what your PE attire is like. Some PE shorts do not have proper or enough pockets. I personally prefer my kids to have on them their HP and wallet all the time, esp in an outside school premise coz you will never know who the predators are.

Can bring HP on that day? Thought the notification said no HP?

I am hoping that it will be exactly as what you said - those with the talent will be able to get in, regardless of their awards or GEP or school results. As I said, my DS' school results were not fantastic. That will make NUS High very different from all the other schools in Singapore.

I am sure they will have fun tomorrow. πŸ˜„
My DS is also in blue. He is strong in Maths . When he attended the selection test, he said Maths was very easy, science was very tough and he couldn't manage even one question. We are surprised that he can go into the camp.

Well, it all depends on whether our DC gets in or not. Whichever it is, it's ok. It was fun being on this forum for this period of my life, meeting new parents πŸ˜„
