I assume those of us who fail are all trying to apply via the clan path?

Collectively we should demand an answer officially as the way I see it, there is unfair treatment for the 3 groups of people under P2B. It seems the school is tilted toward PV first, RC second and the clan last, which contrary MOE's guideline that all the 3 groups fall under P2B.

I think Gimago is right, my child application via clan was rejected too. We should demand an explaintion from the school regarding this.

Our application via clan is also rejected. No reason no whatever is even offered to us. Spoke to the Sch Principal & 2 VPs, they keep biting on the Sch Management Committee makes the selection and they knows nothing about it.
Called up BL and the so called "chu jia ren" is so super rude and keeps complaining that we are disturbing him and can’t ask anything from him at all!!!

We are just asking for mere transparency in the selection process of those who are selected via clan route. Why out of the many who applied, these 12 applicanats are selected? Why can’t a fair ballot be done to select the 12? Best still is all should all who are eligible under P2B - PV, RC & clan associated applicants should be ballot together to be ABSOLUTELY FAIR?

We can’t just sit here and accept our fate without even putting up a fight or at least find out the truth. We can’t just let the school gets away scotfree like this?

Is that because they need to be at least 3 yrs as member of BL and is a active member? …my friend’s fren get in. not sure…just guessing…

Can those who were being rejected through clan registration, write to higher authority or directly to MOE? My child is still 2 years away from registration. Please help to clarify this matter for the sake of those being rejected and the future going-to-be regrister parents. Thank you. This is a serious problem that cannot be neglected.

Hi, I agreed with sunshine22 , I have joined that hokkien clan last year in order to register my son in nan chiau primary Sch , but in order to have a recommended letter from them , I have to be a active member and at least two years in their clan. In the end I give up of getting the letter after going so much procedure in joining the clan. Think this Sch might work this way too. Just imaging that hokkien clan got thousands of members and By then the school would have l

lot of people register under phase 2B.

If you are right, then my child is not eligabe for it. As I joined the member only for 1 and the half years.

With that in mind, BL should advise us that one needs to be member for x number of years then stands a chance.

What is the point issuing us a letter which will not get through.

I felt been cheated…

Hi I actually shortlist this school becos of its moral education n chinese bckgrd but seems that the school administration is pretty weak . Jus my personal opinions n feedback.


Had email the school a few times way back when the PV registration starts but was not give a specific period. Finally Was told to contact the school to get the form to register as PV in a particular month ( no date was given). However when closer I send numerous emails when i can apply for PV and there was no replies. So I decide to call up e school and was told the PV was full as 50 of them were selected!! I was shOck and feel cheated in a sense that at least they shd have the courtesy to reply me that there were no more fancy so that we can enquire PV for other schools. Jus wondering how the school select PV or what is e criteria for PV @ Mee toh ?

Hi 2snoopy, is for 2014 registration. Tot of trying thru BL route but seems like the PV n GRL have absolute priority over BL members . Nevertheless we will try other schools who are still accepting PV as Mee Toh is not the only sch @ Pggl /Sk
