Hi all,
Anyone whose kids are in P1 class of TAS Bt Timah Branch (Fri, 7.15pm)this year?
Would be grateful if you can share your feedback on the contents, pace, teacher and timing etc of the said class. Is the class timing too late, hence tiring for your P1 child?
Thanks in advance! -

Thanks TAS, the competition looks interesting, so if a non-TAS child wins, how would they know or be contacted?

Hi,
Does TAS provide formal feedback to parents on a regular basis (say every one or two terms)? Or is the feedback usually upon parent’s request?
Also, do they run lessons on public holidays replacement days e.g. 20-Aug next month which is supposed to be replacement holiday for Hari Raya Puasa on Sunday?
Thanks! -
Normally, if parents got doubt orquestion, we can look for teacher directly after class. Else another situation is student not coping, the teacher will spoke to the parent directly.
For replacement holiday like 20th august, the school still operating unless the centre closed for their own event. Therefore, for those replacement holiday, it would be best to confirm with their administrator. -
Hi parents,
We want to make the learning of English enjoyable for your children and in the process
hopefully instill in them a passion for the language. As such, we have come up with
competitions and interesting links on our Facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/pages/The-Alternative-Story
For some of the competitions, parents can also take part and stand to win prizes
together with their children. We are doing this so that parents and children can
enjoy the process of learning English together.
The best learning is done when children are passionate about learning.
They learn not because they have to but because they want to. However, we know
that it can be difficult to inspire passion in children given the tight schedules that
most Singaporean children have.
By providing some fun and educational activities through our Facebook page, we hope
to provide a place where you and your child can go to explore the language
together and have fun with English.
We would like to leave you with this blog post that we find insightful about learning.
