thankyou lonejean
I am not sure about CHIJ last yr if there was balloting at 1-2km. If there isn't and this year you should monitor 2C registration, if no need ballot, of course go to CHIJ TP! because last year, ballot >2km conducted at St Margaret's, this year, the 2C seats at St M has reduced to 103 which will be more competitive than last yr.Saki:
HI ALL PLEASE ADVICE ME I AM NOT ABLE TO MAKE DECISION I HAVE 2 CHOICES IN MY MIND TO REGISTER FOR MY DD 1) IS CHIJ TP AT A DISTANCE BETWEEN 1-2 KM AND THE VACANCIES ARE 50
2) ST MARGARET S AT A DISTANCE BEYOND 2KM AND VACANCIES 103
IN WHICH SCHOOL WILL I BE HAVING A HIGHER CHANCE TO GET THE ADMISSION
I think your chance at CHIJ TP sounds more promising.
Still I need many of you advices -
Hmm… I think fairfield should be ok for less than 1km

Hi blessedwifeMe me !!
Also gonna have sleepless nights for our next week registration
Going to try for Fairfield under 2c <1km
I am eyeing for FMPS too. I am at 1.4km :(....which part do you live? I stay at Holland :(..But i saw MOE website, 2B no balloting needed for under 2km today. -
The balloting is finally over for TN. Of the 74 applicants that stayed within 1 Km, 1 is PR. Hence at the end, only 73 vying for 53. Out of the 53, the triplet got in. FYI

For the past few years Fairfield under 2c needs to ballot for those staying <1km so hopefully this year 2c will be the same as 2B no need balloting for all within 2km
I am staying at Dover (one of the condo there).....
Looking at the number of ppl registered under 2B is quite scary but my advice to those staying >2km not to waste their chance trying for Fairfield.
I may be wrong but if I stay >2km I won't take the risk.
Hope it make sense

Unlike the other schools for this year registration, for TNS, the phase 2B is not so \"hot\" as compared to its prior years. Historically, the average is about 90-100+ applicants fighting for 60+ vacancies (within 1 km). Guess partly due to the fact that it is going to shift to the temporary premises for 2014-2015. It may be lukewarm for phase 2C too - good news for parents whom are aiming for phase 2C. -
I will be joining in the rat race too!

End of Phase 2B....the rat race will begin for phase 2C.....Best of luck to those parents chasing the places in Phase 2C

Oh My Gosh:
I knew a few who have been undecided over TN or KH made a last minute switch to the latter. Guess that took some heat off TN.blurrish:

Just puzzled how that took some heat off TN... TN and KH are more than 1km apart and applicants needs to ballet for < 1km. So these applicants are either living within 1km of TN or KH - so no way these 2 schools can take some heat off each other... er... if you know what I mean.
