Which school do u intend to register for your child?

I am wondering why this year’s phase 2B registration has so many rejected from clan? Can those parents registered as BL who are being rejected by Mee Toh school, please complain to the higher school authority or to Punggol MP? We need to clarify the reasons for the justice of this year’s rejected parents and also for the future phase 2B registration parents?

You got a point there, I just spoken to a colleague of mind.

His wife has a letter from clan and applied for their child P1 next year with only joining the clan for less than a year. GUess what the school accepted their application and together they went balloting in 2B with PV and they got a place in. Sorry I cannot recall which school.

With that, I do not see the reason why MTS reject our letter from BL without valid reasons.

All these are set within MOE guideline. Unless the school is above MOE.

To be frank, I am very dishearted by the decision from the school so call Management Team. I am seriously thinking taking my son to another school in 2C phase.

Both me and my wife have a few days to consider our option.

No matter what, I do hope the school do gave us a valid reason for rejection.

Today and tomorrow still have chance since there are 6 vacancies left. $5000 for building fund.

Just in my personal point of view , parents who go though the BL route and got rejected by the school , just think for the parents who go though the PV or RC route , they have started planning for their child to enroll in which school as early as year 2010, ( PV registration started on jun 2010 for child to study next year P1) and RC

Member may even much early as this route is even tougher to get a recommended letter , whereas in BL route as mentioned by silversword that joining the clan that is less than a year, comparing to the time and effort that parents have put in in PV and RC route , sacrificed their leave and time and contribution to the school or public (RC) . If everyone have the same chance I getting registed in a good school , of course they would like a take the easiest way out. ( money or time or effort)

i do feel all your anger and disappointment.

myself and my hb take turns to do PV in Mee toh since last mth.
i called Mee toh in 2010 to ask when they usually start accepting Pv for 2011. btw, my child is born in 2007.
they told me registration starts usually in July. so in 2011 May, i called again. they told me in July 2011. i called in July 2011 and was told form not ready. ask to leave my contact and they will send the form to me.
2 weeks later i called again and they say they will send me the form, which i did. and submit the very next working day which i am already at Q no 26.

lucky for us, we get to do the PV this year.
but whether we will get the seat at P2B next year is another worries.

for grassroots, what i heard is you have to be active for 3 years from the date P1 registration starts.
for clan, i think have to be active in the temple for 2 years.

i wish those who are gg to P2C balloting good luck.

Yes. Mee toh will be single session from nxt year. It is stated in moe website

my hb heard from the previous batch of Pv that MTS is planning to have student care next year. but nothing is cfm as yet.
