Are you looking at co-ed or boy's school?
What about hong wen? It is a SAP school and is a co-ed school.
I am only suggesting as i do not know where you reside. Given a choice, i wouldn't choose BHPS. No offense to other parents.....as this is only my view. Pls don't slam me. -

Is River Valley near your house?
Although there is balloting outside 2km in P2B, I would keep an eye on it.
If Stamford Pri is not too far, check it out.
Although some kids may come from humble background and there are Malaysians too, they don't seem to have much discipline problem.
Sportsball is there and they expose the children to many ball and racket games.
I was told the principal was previously from a branded school but I can't verify that.
If I were to register in P2C, I will register in ACSP, ACSJ OR SJI whichever sch that is within 1km fr my house. (If none of them within 1km, then the sch that is within 1-2km fr my house)
As long as I have at least 50% chance of securing a place, I will go for balloting. I am a risk-taker, I don't concede defeat without a good fight. By doing so, I set an example for my child, never give up, always try. If I didn't succeed, live goes on. There will always be a school that is still acceptable to me in P2C Supp. I can also try to do a transfer later on.
On the last day of registration, if the odds are stacked against me, (ie. I have <50% chance of securing a place) I will go for Plan B.
There is time for you to think through your options and make up your mind.
Good Luck! -
