muffin:
ACSJ <2km or SJIJ <1km?
Which school is better?
Which option has a better chance?
Dilemma! Appreciate yr views and comments.
This was last year final statistic for the 3 schools:
Updates:
ACSP - 29 for 24 slots. Balloting within 1km
SJIJ - 53 for 51 slots. Balloting within 1km
ACSJ - 76 for 64 slots. Balloting within 1km
So SJIJ has a better chance. -
karenmok:
How many vacancies did the registration exercise start with? How many vacancies are still left for 2C and beyond?
Please check MOE website -

hi muffin
Below is my own opinion so do take with inch of salt.
Phase 2B - ACSJ already ballot for > 2km. With SJIJ being popular, we might see influx of applicants who also might think good chance to go to ACJS. might see alloting within 1-2 Km . I fyou have other sure win option, might want to consider first and watch the numbers on teh last day. But from what i understand from the postings, many parents register in the last 30 min of the last day thus cuse numbers to spike suddenly and parents are caught unable to transfer at the last moment, losing their opportunity at Phase 2B. Decide carefully. Phase 2Cs is very painful. -

The number of vacancies depends on the individual schools. See below link for the number of vacancies left for Phase 2C.

I am still hesitating if to try Henry park pp in phase 2c. Stay <1km, sc. Hv gotten a school for DS 7km away fr home. Really for convenient sake to take the chance. Including me, there will b 3 applicants in this category. Anyone knows if there are more? Think will make descision on Wednesday.

Oh My Gosh:
\"My GOSH\" - you calling me again?
Being my 1st kid registering in P1, i have a bit of personal sharing here.... BUT IT IS MOST EXCITING TO BE THERE!!
I was not feeling the pressure before reaching the school for my boy's balloting in 2B yesterday in TNS. My GOSH!! There were so many parents attending it! The suspense of the ballot was overwhelming.. hahaha.. All mixed emotions thruout the whole process of balloting.. Happiness and disappointment...
I am glad mine is over...
All the best of luck to all parents! :xedfingers:
\"Oh\" is my surname; \"My Gosh\" my name. Haha
:rotflmao: I will try my best not to call out your name too often!! :rotflmao: -

How come 3 rounds?Shirley1234:
Looking at past year statistics, I think you can try Kong Hwa again in 2C as there are seats in 2CS for haig girls (if i have read correctly).
Yah but I think in P2CS, Haig girls will require balloting. Not sure if I can handle 3 rounds of balloting stress. Losing confidence in my balloting luck!
