How many applicants were there vying for how many places?

[cftongtan]

Hi,

Yes, I joined the balloting. There are 19 applicants eyeing on 12 seats.
DD is lucky to be picked. :rahrah:

[notknow11]

wow congrats

you are so lucky…our kids may be classmates soon
that day I was at RVPS at 4.30 can see some parents very panic
hopefully those who wanted badly to get in RVPS can get in thru balloting or phase 2c

Hi notknow11,

Yes, hope that they are in the same class.
Wonder if they will know which class they will be in later stage?

[notknow11]

guess maybe first day of school then will know

orientation will not tell i think :yikes:

[cftongtan]

I see. Orientation is on 17 nov (sat) at 9am.

Thank you cftongtan for updating on the P1 orientation date. It’s useful for me.

Sometimes, schools will trial class allocation on the orientation day. The first cut will be mostly random, just to ensure gender and racial mix and spread as they do not have information on most individual kids yet. On orientation day, the school personnel may make observations of the kids and then there will be changes. That’s also the time for parents to approach the School personnel if they have specific needs or requests.
