I check my fridge regularly and get really angry if I find expired food in my fridge, esp milk. I make sure the maids throw out expired food so there's no chance of them feeding the family.

Sounds like one of my ex-maids. She would take one plate from the kitchen to the table. Then take another plate. Then take a fork. Then take a spoon. Each time she would sashay across the living room with one item. I told her to take a tray, put everything on the tray and make ONE trip.

And like your maid, this same maid of mine would claim she swept a certain area of the floor when I was watching her the whole time and she didn't. Then she would vehemently insist she did, despite knowing I was sitting there the whole time watching her. Makes you think if you're hallucinating.

How old was she at that time?

So, i may have to spend money to repatriate her. I'll do that when the time comes. In her MOM record, she would have this strange 7-8 wks employment.

Why should you pay to repatriate her?
You give the agent the required amount of time as per your contract with them, to find the maid an alternative employe. If they fail to do so,I think it's the agent's responsibility to repatriate her

I thot our MOM rule stated that it is the employer responsibility to repatriate her? Not meh?[/quote]But if your contract with agent says otherwise, it should be agent's responsiblity already. If you suka-suka send her home yourself (without giving agent a chance to get new boss for her), you pay.

It really depends on what your contract terms are.

Usually, (so far the contracts I’ve signed) if loan not paid up, you return maid to agency and to get replacement maid. There is usually a cap of levy, (food+ lodging, some agt don’t charge) eg 21 days. From day back to agency start counting 21 days max levy to pay. You should not pay air ticket at all because you return the maid to agency, it’s their problem to market and place her, she’s off your hands already.

If you insist to send her back kampong, being kind is to give 2 weeks notice to maid for her to inform family, make transport plans etc. (One of my indon maid, she travel almost 18 hours, various transport from airport to her village.) Employer will lose the maid loan, you don’t return maid to agency, they won’t do replacement. Usually agency insist you send maid back to them so they can place her with some other family, they make more money this way. You start all over again.

St2, thanks for your advise. I read the contract carefully, unfortunately, it says \"employer has to bear the cost of repatriation at all times\". Perhaps then i'm doing other potential a favour

You will be doing others a favour by sending her home.

My myan maid, I put up with her rubbish for 7 months. When her loan paid up, she asked to have hand phone, I told her, contract says no hp and let her speak to agent that told her the same thing.

I was planning to send her home after her loan paid up, was thinking of how to talk to her to avoid her running away in case she refuse to leave sg. The day after the no hp talk, she told me she not happy want to go home. Thank God she open her mouth first…I bought one way ticket to yangon and send her home.

hi…anyone has any feedback on SLF Green Maid Agency… I went and managed to speak with the boss and he sounds like his maid quality are not bad.


However, i check and found them with 3 demerit points from MOM…what are these demerit points stands for?
