A few years ago, my child was attending Kelvin’s lessons for three months (at that time he still conducted his lessons at his HDB home at Woodland). I withdrew my child because he kept increasing his tuition fees and in my opinion, his lessons didn’t have any special worksheets (all photocopied from eng and maths assessment books). After withdrawal, he SMSed me to offer the so-called "past GEP selection test general abilities papers". It was so lucky for me that he asked his maid to pass to me as he and his wife were not at home, if not I would have lost my money. Before handing the money to his maid, I requested to see the papers. To my surprise, the questions were all copied from other books such as IQ questions from maths 456 (I remembered the pictures and some of the questions from the maths 456).
After so many years, I was told by my friend that he used my child’s PSLE results and Maths Olympiad achievement on his website and even the false testimonials abt having joined his intensive maths olympiad classes for 9 months which my child never wrote. My child has never attended his Maths Olympiad class or any other classes offered by him since I withdrew my child a few years ago.
He didn’t delete all the links until after I warned him that I would be telling the Strait Times.

Found this on Facebook. The name is Eunice Cheang and she likes AristoCare. She is also from Class of 1968 (?but school in India?). Maybe she is Kelvin Ong's mother? The one who told him he is in GEP? The one who sent her nephew to him for training to get into GEP - wait a minute - how old was Kelvin Ong then? :rotflmao: -

From front page of website, 80% get into GEP, 50% topped their schools, and interestingly, they have Kenneth Ong and Brandon Ong quotes as MD of Aristocare and Director of Aristocare, perhaps the reporter should interview them, coincidentally both are also Ongs.Zeng:

Want to clarify that the Aristocare GEP Preparatory tuition Rates quoted by me previously was wrong. Sorry i edit so many times. Want to get all my facts correct with proof.
Those who attended the class could pay (and did pay - otherwise they could not continue) - but some probably sacrificed on other things just to pay. The fact is, he advertised under false pretences. Whether the person can afford the money is immaterial.
There are plenty of unqualified tutors out there, but they don't charge an arm and a leg. He demanded such a high price based on his claims of special knowledge (ie. ex-GEP teacher, top school teacher for 12 years), and promises of results (GEP success rate, Olympiad platinum and gold). Now that we know he lied about his background, his other claims will be called into question.

Could the kids have done just as well going to some other tuition centre eg. Morris Allen - who charges about $30/hr?
Want to be fair to Kelvin Ong of Aristocare even if he lied to us. Went to research his GEP Preparatory Tuition rates from Aristocare's own online advertisements and website. Information like tuition rates, class size and photos of classes were all posted by Aristocare on their online advertisements and website. Have posted correct Aristocare GEP Preparatory Tuition rates for both Group and Individual GEP Preparatory Tuition below.
1) Kelvin Ong of Aristocare charge $183/hr to $275/hr for GEP preperatory group tuition
- GEP Preperatory Class Group Tuition. Aristocare's website photo of a GEP Preperatory Class Group Tuition show at least 8 students per session.
$1100 for 4 lessons including material fee; 1.5hr each lesson; $183/hr
- Pri 3 Intensive GEP revision camp. Dunno how many student in camp.
$1650 for 2 session including material fee; 3 hour each session; $275/hr
2) Kelvin Ong of Aristocare charges $500 per 1.5hr for GEP Preparatory individual 1-to-1 tuition. Almost $334/hr!
