As at 10am from Radin Mas Primary School, 75 registered in the 1 km have to take part in balloting.
Those more than 1km & PR better try other schools. -
Does anyone have the breakdown for ZDPS?

As at 8am this morning ZDPS, 130 plus registered are within the 1km range ;(

Hi all! Anyone can advice why parent still apply for RMPS included in the 101 applicant for when the school already need to ballot for less than 1km range? Aren’t they wasting their chance?

:yikes: ... means there'll be balloting even at <1km this yr. All others (SC or PRs that are > 1km) can forget about it?

my sister-in-law (stays just opposite RMPS) just registered her son there this morning, even though she knows its going to be <1km ballot
for her she is ok with ANY other primary school if balloting not successful - hence her rationale is if successful in balloting = very happy... and if not successful in balloting = still happy :scratchhead: i guess its a situation where anything goes and if there's a chance to enrol her son in a 'better' school, why not since there's nothing to lose

Although ZDPS needs ballot, I will go ahead as I m staying next to the schl. This is the only schl that is within 1km for me. The rest of the schools all fall under 1-2km

The school most likely would ask those more than 1km to withdraw by end of the day or tomorrow morning! From what I know around the range of 70 would be balloting in 1km of RMPS. -
From the current Bukit Merah areas, balloting at the following schools would surface out.
Zhangde Pri (Balloting 1km) - Estimate 163 take part in balloting.
Radin Mas Pri (Balloting 1km) - Estimate 70+ take part in balloting
