Anyone care to share with their kids studying in DLS, CCKPS and YTP.
As hope to get a right school for my kids as this is my first time registration.

Which class is your boy in? My niece is also P4 this year but she seems to have difficulty in her science, and also the problem sums in her maths.

The teachers in the better classes seems to be better and more involved.

My sis said her arts teacher is rather boh chap and till now, her arts assignment has never been marked (lucky my niece likes drawing and arts & craft, so she don’t mind doing it). This year her class has more Malay teachers and 2 are pregnant…so guess will be on maternity soon.

Nevertheless, I see the improvement in the school since my younger sister’s generation (9yrs ago, haha).

My son is not in top 2 classes. This whole year, art & craft, music, social studies and health periods are used for Maths. I am ok to focus on academic subjects. I find too time consuming for art.

My son is interested in Science and because I know what process skills they are looking at, so it is not a problem coaching him.

For Maths, he is rather careless and does not want to think.

When my son was in P1, a group of us (ie motherhood mummies) gathered SA1 papers and distribute for Jun practise. DLS’ standard (particularly Maths) is the highest, can compare to RGPS, Nanyang.

As in today there are 20 seats left for pr within 1km. Currently there are 40 pr within 1km.

There are total of 106 sc include within 1km, 1 to 2 km and more than 2km.
I doesn't have breakdown of this.

I was just told there are only 20seats left for pr within 1km as in yesterday.
