Need some infor... So what happen to the students when they finish their year six? What certificate or diploma certificate will they get? Does the majority go to NUS? If so, which faculty? Can they choose to go NTU and do courses like accountancy or business? What applications to the oversea university? TIA

Locally, they can apply to the following with the NUS Diploma (to see what's the minimum requirements for interested courses, go into the individual sch's websites) :-

      NUS http://www.nus.edu.sg/oam/apply/apply.html
      NTU http://admissions.ntu.edu.sg/UndergraduateAdmissions/Pages/NUSHigh.aspx
      SMU http://www.smu.edu.sg/admissions/pages/apply_to_smu/Apply-to-SMU_NUS-HS.asp
      SUTD http://www.cats.com.sg/scholarschoice/scholars_students48.html

      :thankyou:

        Hi Leeven,

Thanks for the info. Weird that they tell us different things. My understanding of the interview is that they need to clarify some doubts w the child directly and it will take no more than 15 mins. No mention of written & oral. Oh dear.....
WC. This I got from another parent whose child is having interview tomorrow. She has called up the school to check more. Just be prepared and no surprises.
