          Read that for RGPS:

Total applicants as of Day 2 is 45
          Vacancy is 42

          SC = 39 SC, PR = 6

          SC:
          32 (<1km)
          1 (1-2km)
          6 (>2km)

          PR
          5 (<1km)
          1 (1-2km)

With just 39 SC versus 42 vacancies, 3 more SC, even if they are more than 2km, would have priority over the PRs < 1km, for the remaining 3 seats.

This would be a good backup plan for SC with daughters and have registered in overly subscribed schools.

Hmm, I used to think that RGPS is very popular! Quite surprise that still have vacancies for SC.

What is the breakdown for SJI?

I called SJIJ yesterday at 5 pm, and they said only 22 applicants within 1 km. the number looks good for those within 1 km. I am not sure about the stats for those beyond 1 km.

                  Hi everyone,

Being a PR, I’m looking for those not very popular schools. There are three schools within 2km still have enough vacancies, Cedar, St Gabriel and First Toa Payoh. If you know about these schools, please kindly give me some advice. Thanks in advance!

The area surrounding the school are mainly private landed homes. Population density is probably lower with fewer condos and apartments within 1 km. Many foreigners live around the area too. That probably explains why there are more PRs less 1km than SCs. SC who are not 1 km within the school should monitor the situation of the school. Chances seemed high for SC within 1-2 km too.

If I have daughter, I will camp there today. 😂

                        As of 910am, ACSJ has

                        49 SC < 1km
                        2 SC 1-2km
                        9 SC > 2km
Didn’t give me PR numbers but believe at least 7 based on 1st 2 days data.
