        Hi JieTing

How was the parents meet sessions.

Base on the common test performance(w/o PW)
Only about 32% of the whole cohort can enter the Uni.

Student really need to put more effort because promo exam start from 20 Sept and must score at least 5 units( 1 H2=2 units, 1 H1=1 units)
(must pass GP) and above in order to promote to year 6.

OMG only 32%, no wonder my gal's senior ever said that they are so Evil....haha
I recalled the P spoke to parents during yr1 that he is aiming for ALL dunmanians to be eligible for Uni....
( cant realled his actual words)

I am not sure about last year yr 5 promo criteria.

I think should be the same since the teacher dnt say anything about it.

However, we have been told that the standard of the common test was average and not 'killer' paper.

            Thanks for your help, Augmum.

Hi Augmum, it stated English test only. I kind of doubt it is GAT type cos dd had already taken GAT earlier. It is not DSA via Eng domain.. πŸ™

                Hi Angmum

I dun have the statistics for Geog as I skipped the parents meet session.
One chapter of Geog is equlvalent to one biology text book.
A lot of reading to be done…this is G

So, now you may weigh between G and Econ

haha....this reminds me of MOE 's usual replies of PSLE exam papers that \"the difficulty level has not increased over the years\".... 🀷

                      hi Sallysara,
i thot Bio is already very heavy content at JC level, where most pupils wanna to drop, No ?
but it's true that Geog chapter can be very wide coverage .....many sub topics .....
the good thing abt geog is (i heard) there are some topics already covered or introduced in yr 3 and 4.
The amt of Geog notes i see what my gal has now already :scared: πŸ˜“
