Can someone pls advise me on the acsj figures? I remember seeing 64 applicants as of yesterday 31st July 2012 and today it's still 64. Moreover, I remember seeing someone mentioned out of these applicants, there are 2 x 1-2 km applicant and 9 x >2 km applicants. So applicants within 1 km is only 53 mah. I call acsj they told me 57 sc within 1km. Haiz. Can't let the remainder 3 go in as well meh?
ACSJ 57<1km, 4>2km, 3 PRs not sure what distance total 64 -

dear parents,
this is my 1st P1 registration exercise and i totally empathise with the rest of the parents who had to go through the anxiety and emotional upheavals especially those who can only participate from P2C onwards.
The reality of not getting your child into your school of choice(well may b 2nd, 3rd... choices for some) is just totally depressing.
i would like to thank the parents and contributors to this forum who have provided much needed info for us parents than the official media could...
It's gonna be another 5 sleepless nights for myself till the balloting exercise on the 7th.. and hopefully the outcome can make it my last...
BTW, would any1 have any idea if the principal / school has the discretion to allow 1 or 2 extra students in should the cut-off exceeded by such numbers...
this would have spared the rest of the parents the emotional roller-coaster of having to go through balloting? not to mention the poor 1 or 2 who misses out on the ballot day? imagine all the parents turning out for the ballot process to 'ballot' out only 1 or 2 of the candidates ...
just my 2 cents worth of thought...
GOOD LUCK TO ALL!! GOD BLESSED!

No, unless the last number to be picked is for twins, triplets, etc.

If principal had the discretion, what should be the cut-off?
1? 2? Why not 3 or 4? There's no end to it.

Hi all,
Need advise. So the school will send mail to successful candidates? -
qms:
After ballot out... Still can do appeal... Still can put under waiting list... Depends if you want to go through with it...No, unless the last number to be picked is for twins, triplets, etc.
