      Hi zeemimi,

I'm within 1-2km so balloting is inevitable.

To be frank, I'm actually not a risk taker. So even though KCPPS is my first choice and I'm going for it, if chances are slim, I may ultimately change my mind and opt for an alternative school. But I hope I will not have to do so. Wish me luck! πŸ™‚

all the best to you. with the recent change in registration where SG has priority over PR, it may be favourable for you. i know of quite a few PR who got in KCPPS last year. Had it been one year later, they stand little chance.

Is it true that average PSLE results for KCPPS for the TOP 2 classes is 240 -250 only? That's what a friend told me.

I saw your message on the PSLE results for KCPPS. I don't think the TOP 2 classes result is about 240-250 only. Recently my kid told me that she saw students coming back to visit the teachers and they were wearing Raffles Girls, Catholic, St. Nic, Cedar, SCGS uniform. I think you need to score well to get into these schools since they are not the affiliated school.

            Hi zeemimi,

Thanks, you are right! SC stand very good chance in this year registration. In fact, all SC were successfully enrolled into Kcpps!

            Congratulations to all! :rahrah:

Cuts out all the stress. Judging fr the number of foreigners my kids hv as friends, I was right they will hv a harder time at 2c this year. But PRs will try to beat this in future by getting in at2B. Kcpps always has more than enough places at 2B. Even more so because they will certainly hv no chance at AT or CHS.
But I was a bit surprised at the number who registered at 2C this year. A bit low. Maybe the prs hv gone somewhere else, or maybe because the school is relocating or maybe because ........ 🀷

I think the low take up rate is most probably due to relocating and the new ruling. A few PRs withdrew their applications when I was there yesterday.

Congrats CMUM in getting into your choice sch!! So there will be balloting for PRs? I observed there are quite a group of PRs in bishan who opt for missionary sch for religious inclination. And this is the only mixed missionary sch in the neighbourhood.

Yup, I was there and heard the teachers said all SCs are in. Only PRs require balloting. IIRC, only 10 seats left for the PRs. Some have withdrew in the last min and opt for other school, such as MCS.

Hi CMUM, in the end I still chose the walking distance sch for its single session - Teck Ghee. Can’t wait for 2 more yrs for KCPS to move back.

choosing a \"walking distance school\" is a very wise choice. :congrats:
