Teck Ghee Primary

[CMUM]

Hi rejoice,

Wow, TGPS is oversubscribed this yr! Do you think balloting is require or the school will take in the extra 2 applicants?

[rejoice137]

Hi Cmum,

Yes! I wonder if it is an important day in TGPS history! I sure hope the school will take in the two extra applicants. It will be a pity to have to ballot them out.

Hi Beauty,

Looks like you should be safe this round. Welcome to the big family!

Ya… Already telling my DD, "See that is yr new school when we drove past just now." She finds pronouncing Teck Ghee a mouthful though.

Hi Beauty,

I called up TG office this morning , Singaporean are safe! Whew! :boogie:

Now wondering what class my DD will be in. Perhaps some of our children will be placed in the same school. Orientation on 7 November morning.

[Ninjago]

Hi beauty, orientation on 7 nov seems very early as school holidays has not started yet. Wonder if the kids get to see the on-going lessons?

[rejoice137]

Yes this year orientation is during school day. I wonder why. Previously it was after school holiday starts and the kids get to meet their future teachers and classmates in the classroom :-).

Let’ see if our kids ended up same class. Haha.

Astee you have a pm!

TGPS conducting balloting for PR staying outside of 2km for 2C! Wow, looks like the school can not just take in the 2 extra applicants. Hope those don’t get in after the balloting has a plan B already.

Hi Dahlia,

Thanks for sharing and sorry for late reply as was busy with a day trip to KL and local meetings, now back in action.
