Thanks Titank!
My only worry is that he has to go to BRPS which is more then 2km if he doesnt get into Cantonment under 2cs. Does it mean that the gov will then just let him enter BRPS if I fail in 2cs for cantonment? -
What are your backup schools if not able to get a place in Radin Mas? Looking at it you may want to consider Queentown, New Town & or Blangah Rise in Phase 2CS.
Maybe you may want to enquire from MOE what is fail in Phase 2CS. Can the Phase 3 be applicable to SC & is ti on a first come first serve basics?
Wish you good luck & hope you are in the 62% chance to get in RMPS. -
Fail 2c supplementary, you go to phase 3.
Before phase 3 happens, you can approach MOE to help you to do manual posting on the schools which have vacanies nearest your house.
If you do not go to MOE before phase 3 happens, then you participate the phase 3 with the foreigners.
The priority is same as earlier phases, SC before PR, PR before foreigners.
Sure will get place in phase 3. -
Thanks Titank! I sure hope I do not have to go thru the ordeal. I don't know whether I can take it or not.
Thanks Smile Smile for the info! -

My backup plan is actually Cantoment which is 1-2 km. but looking at the situation, with only 30 over vacancies left, chances of me getting in will be very low too. What are your backup schools if not able to get a place in Radin Mas? Was told that RMPS is 77 balloting for 52 vancancies.
And if my DS name wasn't called, how should I go abt to put him in the waiting list for RMPS? -

When were you told about 77 balloting for 52 vacancies? I thought the school called up those beyond 1 km to withdraw, so by right, the 84 should represent only those staying within 1 km? http://www.freesmileys.org/smileys.php
Will you be attending the balloting? Do you mind updating us on the statistics?

You should monitor the situation during P2CS. Choose a school that you guarantees you a place rather than go through balloting. My backup plan is actually Cantoment which is 1-2 km. but looking at the situation, with only 30 over vacancies left, chances of me getting in will be very low too.
Should your child be unsuccessful in P2CS, MOE will write to you and ask you to nominate schools which still have vacancies then. If you choose not to nominate schools, MOE will post your child to the nearest school with available places.
What, then, is the backup of your backup school? Let's say the backup of your backup school is Queentown and you don't need to go through balloting in Queenstown but you need to go through balloting in Cantonment. You may like to consider Queenstown rather than Cantonment.
The limited number of places left in Cantonment after P2C means that you may not even get a chance to participate in the balloting, if at all.
My two cents.TwoTerrificTs:
Touch wood, should your child be unsuccessful in the P2C balloting, you just need to go up to the Principal or Vice-Principal (either one or both will be present for the balloting) and put down your child's name in the wait list. And if my DS name wasn't called, how should I go abt to put him in the waiting list for RMPS?
Once again, http://www.freesmileys.org/smileys.php to you and your child. Your child is blessed, so he will be able to get in.
