Hi mummies!
My girl had also just gotten in to MCS. Feeling kinda lost and anxious as this is my elder girl and my first time dealing with a kid going to primary sch. Hope to find like-minded mummies here to share experience and find support. Just wondering if thereโs a MCS parent support group or girls attending MCS staying in Bishan group? -
Reminds me of my past.. I still remember school upgrading and we need to move to temporary school also in Toa payoh (lor8). Now my dd will need to go through the same thing as me :rotflmao: so coincidence
I still rem how excited and rahrah to move there during my time. Looking forward for the orientation in nov

hiJust wanted to say a big \"Thank You\" to all you mummies and daddies in this forum for your positive comments and sharing with regards to the MCS school environment. :grphug: It played a big part in us deciding to enrol our DD1 in MCS - she will be starting P1 next year.
We were initially looking at SCGS (as we are <1 km away) and were torn between MCS and SCGS. Being Catholics, we wanted a Catholic school for DD1 and DD2. On the other hand, SCGS is so near our home. But with SCGS being so over-subscribed this year (even being SC doesn't help), it was a no-brainer to go with MCS, and I think we made the right choice. Had very good vibes when we were at the school for 2B registration, and we can see DD fitting in well in her new school.
If the civility and generosity present in this forum (so different from some of the other school forums) is an indication of the school environment, then we have definitely picked the right school! Looking forward to getting to know you all - thanks again! :hugs:
i'm sure your kid would fit in very well and would be happy in mcs. for catholics, there is a wednesday bible class, not sure what they call it in school, \"pastoral care\"?, and my kid likes it better than her cathechism :). -
Hi ohdaddy,
Thanks very much for your note. Good to hear that MCS has bible classes to complement the catechism classes in church. Hopefully she will enjoy MCS' bible classes as much as your DD. -
Hi ohdaddy
Is the bible class compulsory?
