      Thanks mathsparks for your suggestion.

But I don't think it is accurate because I did exactly as you said and a list of schools came out & Nanyang is one of them.

But I think at 257 my daugther dont qualify to nanyang.

Which school you will to send your girl to, if say your girl get 257 ?

      Thanks

ya, strange indeed. :? i think it comes up becoz nanyang also have affiliated score of 250-275.
257 include bonus points for hcl?

      Thanks mathsparks.

No, 257 without hcl because she did not take higher chinese but she got A* for chinese

Many choices actually. SCGS, St Nic, MGS, CHIJ (all of them)
I stay in the east. What about Anglican High ? Is it a good school ?

If your girl get 257 & stay in Tampines, do you prefer to send her to SCGS or Anglican High ? I ask because I am in a bit of a dilemma. I think SCGS is better but if she goes to SCGS, she got to travel quite far (I am not even sure if there is there a bus to SCGS from Tampines ?) where as if she goes to Anglican, the distance may be nearer even though Anglican may not be as prestigious as SCGS.

I really dont know what to do. What you think ? What will you do ?

      Thanks

        Hi!
If I were you, i choose Anglican High. or Dunman High (what's the COP?) to me, distance is quite important. i dun wanna my child to travel so far to school, even if i drive the child to school, it still time...

I think no harm trying. Put as 1st choice. You still got 5 other choices.

Good luck to your boy. I hope he achieve his dream.

            Cheers

Dunman High COP is 260, so she most likely cannot get in because she only get 257.

So, Is Anglican a good school as compared to SCGS ?

              Thanks

Which school you sending her ?

Is traveling to SCGS from Tampines a problem ?

Also, I am not rich, will that be a problem in SCGS ? I heard in some schools all the students' parents are rich & when they do project work the students all go to expensive restaurants. I certainly cannot afford to give my girl so much pocket money to eat in expensive restaurants for every project work she attends. Is this gonna be a problem in SCGS ?

                        Thanks
