Haha....but there is already Gan Eng Seng Primary Sch.....maybe can call it Prince Philip Pri Sch or Prince Charles Pri Sch....since the new sch is surrounded by these 2 roads. We have Princess Elizabeth Pri (in Bukit Batok) anyway. Hahaha.

I think i might be sending my kids to this school. When my older girl is in Pri 1,this sch would be 4 years old(it will start in 2014). No PSLE results yet but at least my kids are in a brand new sch with brand new facilities! šŸ˜„ And it's within 1 km from my place! I think i can see it from my flat too.....since i can see the church that is somewhere behind it from my flat now.

Putting in waiting list is as good as zero chance. The Phase 2B being ablloted out I assuem that he/she is in the waiting list. Then with 30+ being balloted out also in the wait list?

Not sure about this, titank. One of my neighbours who was balloted out transferred to RMPS mid-way of P1. At the start of P2, I saw at least 5 new students to the school.

So, in a way, there is use in putting the child's name in the wait list.

I am not sure abt this liao..... the best is to shoot all questions and queries at MOE and then we can share their replies over here.... :hi5:

Just confirmed with the school. If parents graduated from Pearl's Hill, their children qualify under P2A2 for GESPS.

              QMS,

In summary, the P1 quota had been set by MOE is 240 for Radin Mas.
The end result can be 240-245 assuming there are twins are triplet being drawn at the last number during the balloting date.

Once the P1 registration was over, every school the Principal can have the power to decides the number of transfer in.
I know not every class is 30 especially at the beginning of Term 3. Maybe 31 or 32.

When were you told about 77 balloting for 52 vacancies? I thought the school called up those beyond 1 km to withdraw, so by right, the 84 should represent only those staying within 1 km? http://www.freesmileys.org/smileys.php

Will you be attending the balloting? Do you mind updating us on the statistics?

                  http://www.freesmileys.org/smileys.php
A friend actually called up and checked with the staff after the 3rd day of registration.

Yes. I will be attending the balloting. Will try to up here again.

You should monitor the situation during P2CS. Choose a school that you guarantees you a place rather than go through balloting.

Should your child be unsuccessful in P2CS, MOE will write to you and ask you to nominate schools which still have vacancies then. If you choose not to nominate schools, MOE will post your child to the nearest school with available places.

What, then, is the backup of your backup school? Let's say the backup of your backup school is Queentown and you don't need to go through balloting in Queenstown but you need to go through balloting in Cantonment. You may like to consider Queenstown rather than Cantonment.

The limited number of places left in Cantonment after P2C means that you may not even get a chance to participate in the balloting, if at all.

                    My two cents.
Actually if my DS really cant enter Cantonment, any other schools outside our area will be consider too far out already. =(

Why is Blangah Rise so unpopular?

Blangah Rise have certain good PSLE students with good performance.
Cannot understand why so many years still not popular at all.
                      Location no good?

Perceptions are hard to change. :gloomy:

Guess my backup's backup would be Blangah Rise

Blangah Rise have 180 places available in Phase 2C Supplementary.
Those failed in the balloting from nearby schools most likely come here.
Again it would still be distance proximity in which the nearer you stay the chances to get in is higher.
