Thanks Allanice. I’m glad to hear that the after school care is good. I intend to register her for the after school care as we are both working it is difficult to go through her homework and revise her spelling or tingxie.


Is your girl on the school bus as well? Able to share how much you pay, what time is pick up and drop off. I know it depends on distance, i just want to get an idea.

hi, everyone, my girl just got accepted into St Margaret P1 in phase 2B, I have been browsing through this conversation thread, Really helpful to learn about after school care at YMCA.


would appreciate if anyone can share info on the following:
- Does St Margaret’s have CCA for P1? some schools seem to only offer CCA for P3 and above.
- what is school bus pick up time like for Ferrar Park area in the morning?
- there will be an orientation session in November, is that the time to sign up for after school care? is it possible to register before that?

From what I know, the school bus comes by Clementi area by 6am. I find that too early so prefer to send her by myself. I leave home at about 7am and reach the school gate at about 7.20am. Light to moderate traffic.
