Hi Yunman,
I did not opt for the wait list.
After our P2B rejection, we deceided to go for HPS. -
Silversword:
Should we write a letter to MOE or MP for this.2snoopy:
[\\quote] agree!
Does anyone being rejected by MTS without a valid reason at Phase 2B going to ask the MTS fir reason? Will MTS ignore those rejected parents? Does anyone raise this matter to MOE?
Look at the vacancy by phases, you will realise that there are parent who enter 2B phase give out their seats. Which resulted to an increase on 2C phase from orginally 67 to 70.
While parent like us who really wish our kid to enter the school was not even given a chance in 2B with valid letter from BL.
Anyway,I have register my son with another school. However, I am willing to help out for the sake of furture parent going by this route.
Silversword, are you also one of the rejected parents from BL or PV?
If yes, can you please write a letter to MOE rather than to MTS to raise this matter for the concern of future registration parents?
I am one of the future registration parent to MTS. We are very concern about this unfairness treatment by MTS to registration parents this year and yet we are not appropriate to write to MOE. Very appreciate that Silversword and other rejected parents for this year in phase 2B can kindly stand up to write this issue to MOE.
Thank You.
Hi Snoopy,
Understand your conern, I have wrote to MOE on my experience with MTS P2B resgistration and request them to investigate on this case.
Please be inform that I did not request for MTS to re-do the p2B (which I think it is over), but to clarify matters for future parent going for this route.
I hope MOE will entertian my request and feedback to me soon.
Once I recived a rely, I will then share with all in this forum.
I have posted this on the [Punggol] primary school page on the reply from MOE. Doing a re-post here.
Dear Concern parents on Clan route for MTS,
I got a \"standard\" reply from MOE yesterday.
\"Dear Mr. xxx,
Thank You for your email on 3 Aug 2012.
We would like to thank you for taking your time.... ..
As such, we will be forwarding your email to the school principal for their attention and repsond to you directly\"
Seem like MOE will not be interfering with MTS selection process on PV/GV/Clan.
I foresee the school will respond on their standard template 10 years serials answer.
Will keep all posted once MTS replied -
Silversword:
your P2B was via BL ????Hi Yunman,
I did not opt for the wait list.
After our P2B rejection, we deceided to go for HPS.
By joining BL as a member without volunteering work , MTS hv a right to reject your application based on other P2B applicants.
cos some BL members also involved in the volunteering work , fund raising and study Dharma courses... the relationship with BL was much
deeper than membership status ... -

Anyway, for me it is over on this topic.
I wrote in to clarify with MOE was to clear the path for those going for this route in future.
I am still waiting for MTS to reply me from the letter I sent to MOE.
Hope the school will gives us more light on BL route. -
Hi - my son is in P1 - and seems to be suffering from Monday blues! Late Sunday evening, he will start worrying about whether he has forgotten to pack/do something on Monday, and the feeling nags at him even after we have checked the guide book etc.
Think prob started after the last parent teacher conference, when we were told he forgets to bring things to school. I have been training him for independence, so he’s been packing his own stuff weeks since the first term, save the initial couple of weeks. after the feedback, we have been reminding him to re-check his bag every night. but recently, I’ve noticed the onset of Monday Blues.
Would appreciate if anyone can share their experience and advice!!! Thank you! -
