Same Tune:

Can anyone out there pls give me some advise/info on which sch my girl shd put as her 1st choice.


She scored only 219 and is confused where to go......now she needs mummy 's advise and I know nothing much or 'anyone' frm these sch to help me;

Coral Sec Sch or Tampines Sec Sch or East Spring Sec Sch or Bedok View Sec Sch

Purely my opinion & observation... I don't hv a good opinion on Coral Sec. Reasons being hv seen many students swearing in public, smoking, boys with hair combed & gel up \"nicely\" suitable for clubbing. These may just be some of the black sheep in e sch. Hv also seen some decent ones too. Has a frd who daughter is in Coral. During PTM (Parent-Teacher Meeting), there was no FT in that class, only subject teacher. When asked abt her child, tch claimed that she doesn't know much abt e class as she only sees them during assembly. Imagine my frd's horror :x There was no FT in e class for nearly a yr.

Purely based on my observation & feedback fm frd.... (abt Coral) Seen many students swearing in public, smoking, boy's hair combed & gel up \"nicely\" suitable for clubbing. Has a frd who child is in Coral, during their PTM (Parent Teacher Meeting), my frd has no chance to meet the FT as this class has NO FT. There was a teacher seated there but when asked abt the child, teacher claimed that she is unable to give much feedback as she only sees them during assembly. Imagine my frd's horror :!: My frd brought this issue to the principal but to no avail. When it was her 2nd child's turn to choose a sec sch (last yr), she chose another sch in Tampines instead though her child's score met the COP.

You're most welcome. Glad to be of help. I can imagine your anxiety. Had mine just last yr but had to do the selection on my own, only get to know this great site recently. But nevermind, at least I know I can count on KS parents when my DD2's turn in 4 years time. HA HA !
