nothing beat visiting the real one at its original site with the museum built over it, that is really spectacular

it also proves that more than 2000 years ago China was already very advanced in modern production methodology
Yah... Intend to bring my dd there either end this year or next year. 😄

Depends on what ur interests and available time but here's some suggestions
          - The Peak
          - Wetlands Park
          - Space Museum
          - Railway Museum
          - Coastal Defence Museum
          - Cheung Chau
          - Lamma Island
          - Stanley beach

Many tks. Space and Railway Museum sounds interesting.

                  http://http//www.geopark.gov.hk/en_geopark2a.html.

The whole Park covers the different parts of HK, you may need to engage local tour agent for some areas. However, if you want to go on your own. Visiting Sai Kung Ferry pier is a good start. There's a lot of seafood restaurant along the coastal areas many tanks with lots of seafood alive, kids will love to see and it's a small town next to the coastal and you can stroll along few \"old streets\". You may find some to the oldies tidbits.

Along the coastal, there are some tour agents who offer short trip tour to visit the island nearby(part of the Geopark). On Sunday, not sure if it operates on weekdays or not.

Other areas, pls check with the websites.

                      LOLmum,

Me too, I am going to HK either late Nov or late Dec, depends on my DD’s schedule. We’ll stay for at least a week or 2. and decide to venture the nearby countries as well. Winter is the best time to visit HK but not shopping there. haha…
