Anybody DD had ever went for RGS selection test (math domain) ? Can give some tips on preparation?

Take sch bus is better. Ease the stress and ERP charges. Unless you are on the way to your working place.

Thanks for the suggestion! Now, mum and girl get beauty sleep!
Most Gals Catch up on their Beauty Sleep in the Bus. No Worry of Missing the Stop, or Late for sch.

A question for girls (or their parents) in Yr2 - for the tests/exams in the 2nd half of Yr 2, will Yr 1 work be tested? If so, for which subjects? Thanks!
Not really, but some stuff are built up from sec 1, especially math. For eg there's geometry, some basics are already taught in sec 1 and you need to use them to reach certain steps, or algebra, which is again a higher level than sec 1's but you still need some sec 1 skills. -
this school management should educate their girls to watch out their languages when they are in uniform and in public places such as in the bus.
A girl was talking with her friend in the bus, and this girl started using F ___ word , other vulgar hokkien words, literally every sentences. Macam apa ini?
I heard these unpleasant words spoken by neigbourhood sec sch students around my area. -

I am aware that the girls do watch their behaviour in public places, especially when clad in their school uniform.
Once, DD took a bus to Orchard Road with her classmates.
One of them laughed a little too boisterously and was gently nudged by her fellow classmate, reminding her to watch her behaviour.
Friendship,
Did you personally witness the girl spout obscenities in the public transport?
If so, as a parent of the school, why did you not approach the girl and advise her appropriately?
Of course, there's always black sheep in every school.
That's why I am surprised that you are ranting here instead of approaching the girl directly.
Sometimes, a gentle reminder may work wonders. -

Actually, I have also heard of RGS girls using the F word very rampantly and loosely, on Facebook as well
I get the feeling that they have been brain-washed to believe that they are the top girls in Singapore (which is true) and have this superiority complex, and so tend to be arrogant and self-centred. -

:nailbite: :yikes:
Can you kindly name us a school which girls never use vulgarity in Facebook?
You witness the RGS girls using the word rampantly yourself? How many girls did you witness? Have you met majority of them? :scratchhead:
That is how rumours start abt our LKY.... -

Even though i agree with you on the first part, i don't think this is uncommon because well, as Snow Crystal said, there's no school in Singapore that is perfect, where everyone is a model student. Every school has their black sheep so i don't think that speculation made just on a few girls(that i'm sure we have all encountered in our lives)would quite make sense

Why should I slam the school? I'm just sharing what I know and I didn't start it. I was just saying that it's not something new. I am sure not all of them do that but I would say it's quite shocking that even a few of these girls use such language given their educational standing. I wouldn't be surprised at all if it comes from a neighborhood school.
If you think it's perfectly alright and acceptable to scold F word on Facebook, so be it, but I am certain I won't think it's a norm nor would I tolerate it if my kid does it.
