Hello everyone, am delighted that my dd got in. Can i check if anyone is keen in form a "co-ops" enrichment-care center. I have visited a couple of centers and am not too impressed. Am gathering interest from my dd’s Montesorri. Essentially pulling resources together so that our kids can be better nutured esp during primary school time. I want to anchor strong values to lay the foundation her to be an independent learner. Hope to share more in couple of days. Am looking around for venue as well as formulating the curriculum. Hi… anychance that anyone has consolidated a hello for 2013 intake. Understand that the orientation is in Nov… looking forward to meet up. Good to establish strong contact so that we can monitor and cross-chk of the progress of our kids. We did that at my gals’ montessori… hopefully can port the concept over… cheers

Agreed. Perhaps mtg before orientation would b great. Then the gals will have friends already rather feel apprehensive. Makan session pot luck anyone. If u dun mind I volunteer my place at mt merah, jalan rumah tinggi. Shld b ok to contain half a dozen families. I can organise some activities and make it fun. Perhaps a princess party with simple games for family bonding? Weekend is great. If u r available Mon holiday also good. Care center close and I will have my 3 gals home. Can cook up some activities for them.

The idea is quite interesting, but a suggestion, pls can it be after PSLE exams thats in October

Anyone staying around clementi? What time is the school bus pick up in the morning ?

From what I know, the school bus comes by Clementi area by 6am. I find that too early so prefer to send her by myself. I leave home at about 7am and reach the school gate at about 7.20am. Light to moderate traffic.

My girl also got accepted in phase 2C. I've checked with the bus company. I'm staying at Jurong East and it's pickup time is 6am. Still considering if i shld let her take the sch bus. You may want to call them up to check for your area.
