DS school put up a few boxes to collect the different level textbooks (specified textbooks only) within school compound. They place them at common place, and people can donate / can collect from boxes too. Minimal admin on their side, yet doing a service for needy kids.

I see.. you mean every school will have such service? Can just collect?

Possible to share which school?

That is only for their school's needy pupils. Not sure if this is still the practice nowadays, as I have not donated DS' textbooks for the past 2 years (P4 - P5). Need to keep for PSLE!

I am looking for hand-me-down Primary 3 textbooks, for my son next year.

Not too sure if the syallabus will change, but I would like to get "My Pals are Here" series for the Maths and Science textbook. Also I would like to have the 小学华文 for the Chinese textbook (EPB publisher), Arts textbook and Music Textbook.

We are staying in the West side and I can go over to get from you if it’s nearby.

Can any kind soul please keep the textbooks for me if you are clearing by the end of this year?

My P2 textbooks will be "hand-me-down" to my bro’s, however, if you need P2/P1 textbooks, I can try to ask around too.

Mummies, let’s help each others out and also help the environment, "save our world" by recycling used textbooks.

If im nt wrong, next year there may have a change of chinese txtbook and social study txtbook. I was at popular and the sale staff was telling me the new edition of the chinese textbook is not here yet. My ds school book list stated social study text book as ‘Inquiring into our World’ textbook 4A and 4B, price not known yet. The current version of p4 social study is 'Interacting with our world".

I was told by some friends that we could actually buy them from Popular store which will be cheaper but how can we ensure that we get the correct ones?

Can someone share the source on checking which books/publisher of the books we’re to get online(preferably with pics of the book cover)?

Your friend is right.popular is safe n with 5% discount.just pass the booklist to them n they will prepare the books according to the list.only certain books may have to buy it from school,they will
also let u know.
