Good luck!
True. I actually lean very much to people rather than government being the problem with why most are not having more or any kids.
But since govt want to look into it, maybe soft sell, 'propaganda', like the ads they have on filial piety.
Try changing people's view on dragon babies first! -

That view we don't have to change. More babies good right?

We need to change their views on tiger & snake babies.

Perhaps.. the consideration may be.. if they can afford to choose a private hospital.. maybe they do not need assistance?
Also agree that there are consequences to everything. I am not saying for the govt to pick up the tab for the entire treatment, but to extend to those who want this treatment the same subsidy regardless of hospitals, to ease some of the decision making process for these people who truly want to have children. We are afterall short of made by Singaporean babies. And we have to assume that people who make the decision to pay that much money for fertility treatment would be sensible enough to not make rash decisions.
If they need assistance.. maybe they should seek a lower cost alternative so as to be prudence in spending..
Just guessing..
Anyway.. you can view baby bonus as a form of assistance.. it is given to all regardless of which hospital you go to.. -

Tell them.. less competition for that coveted lot in the branded primary school.......
