haha they do! all animals are equal but some animals are more equal.

define whatever some means. in any other system leaving out a LJ would have made a joke out of a gifted system, not the gEP though. SingApore has its own gods. haha... what will foreign press say?
four legs good, 2 legs bad...later evolved into 4 legs good, 2 legs better!!

The kids already been warned...only the pigs...oops....people, at the top dictate the game...GO THERE!!!

We like to bandy Einstein's name around.

I think we forget that Einstein succeeded without much extra help from the system at all.

        Once the basics are met.....

.......HA will be HA wherever they go, Genius will be genius wherever they go. With medical science advancing, they have a good 50 years of productive life after Uni and post-doc (where they can REALLY bite into the cheem stuff), a few lost years during adolescence ain't gonna hurt them or society.

Lay off the GEP lah....cream floats to the top eventually, regardless of whether you are a GEPer or not.

And actually, if you mean wealth and status by 'top', the most gifted are rarely the ones there.
No, I mean top of a chosen field.

Even then, it depends on the field. Some fields require more than just giftedness in that field, like social skills, organisational skills, presentation skills etc.
I'm not sure why you are nit-picking? I think it is obvious that success in life (or any endeavour) is multi-factorial, so when I say \"cream floats to the top eventually\", how do you think that is supposed to be read?
