      Be a mom:
Just over the Oral. On the 1st day, DD oral was MT, one of the male examiner doing a strange action lay on table like sleeping posture look like half dead when he doing the oral....., isn't show he no interest my DD topic???

Can the PSLE examiner have such behavior??? And did not show respect of the candidates...is totally affect the child's... what can i do?? each candidates only valuable opportunity... & candidate been study so long just for the moment...
      Poor little girl, she nervous......

Can understand how you feel. DC also mentioned that the examiners were rude and showed her black face throughout the 2nd day MT oral. She was not given a chance to greet them as they rushed her to sit down. However, she still stay calm even thought she was very upset about it.

Guess we can't do anything about it. Just wonder whether all the MT examiners have the same attitude? :?

My DD’s class was asked to write a statement about what happened during PSLE MT Oral on Tuesday as some parents also feedback about the examiners being not professional, unfair, yawning ,etc. So the teacher asked the whole class to feedback from the moment they step in till they step out from the class.

            hi Be a mom,

For my dd's case, the MT examiners were quite friendly but probably she was the second last student, one of them half way through her passage reading closed his eyes and seemed to be dozing off.

During the oral preparation, we went thru a few scenarios of what if the examiners are fierce- looking, looked bored, are very friendly ,etc so my dd was kind of prepared and went on as per normal.

Anyway, oral was already over. Try not let your dd dwell on what was already over & have no control over now. Encourage her to concentrate on other sections of the paper - LC, compo and main paper which comprise 150 marks and is the bulk and she can take control of now.

Many :grphug: to you and All the best to your dd in the coming PSLE! :please:

That's good. At least the school is concerned about the kids.

That is what I told my DD too. We should encourage our kids to work hard and focus on the other section of the paper and the upcoming PSLE.

Son had Math prelim yest. Unfortunately, I couldn't postpone his Math tuition last night. Wanted him to sleep after lesson ended, but he insisted on revising for today's CL prelim.

Hubby worked till very late last night and as such couldn't distract my younger one. Felt so torn 😢 between 2 kids as I usually accompany my boy when he revises. Really have to think of something to prevent this from happening again.
