MMM:
$120 per 4 lessons
Thanks. Same rate as Kumon. 1.5hrs?
R they using the same method as Kumon? Go there to do worksheets, and instructors mark them? -
hi MMM
which branch of enopi do u go to?
is it also like kumon where they have to do worksheets everyday? any class teaching or guiding?
thanks. -
We go to Roxy Square.
Yes, they have worksheets for homework but usually the kids are able to complete within 2 days. Alot depends on how difficult the questions are.
The teacher will guide them if they’ve issue but note there is no "teaching". -
I was quoted $75 for 4 sessions, 45 mins per session. How come the rates are different?
-
My kids sessions are around 1.5 hour a week.

MMM:
thanks MMM, so since there is no \"teaching\" which is quite similar to kumon, the difference is therefore in the worksheets? n from what u say, it means the one week worth of homework can be completed in 2 days?We go to Roxy Square.

I have ask the enopi instructor whether we will get back the completed worksheet. She told me that only the basic math worksheet will be given back, the IQ math portion will be retain by the school. Is this the practice in other school.
I was told by my friend that for MPM, all the worksheet will be retain by the school.
Can any one verified that this is the practice for all the center? -
The difference between Kumon and Enopi worksheets are Enopi worksheets are more colorful, with cartoons, etc… so it is more appealing than the dull kumon worksheets (nothing but numbers). I would suggest that you actually visit the outlet to have a better understanding.
The amount of homework I feel is not as much as Kumon too. Kumon is daily worksheets. But Enopi 2 booklets is not little as well. There are many progressive arithmetic questions too and usually problem sum at the end. It’s just that I am trying to enforce the kids to complete within 2 days. Depending on the topic, it get more complex so sometimes the child might take a longer time. Personally, I think 2-3 days worth of worksheet is sufficient, there are other subject
We can take back the basic worksheets but not the critical thinking portion. -
My girl is active and will only be in K1 next yr. Does the instructor spend more time on the little ones as they can’t really sit still n read instructions?
-
I think that is common behavior for K1. As my K1 girl sounds like that too. She is only starting enopi in Jan 2010 and so far, the instructor is aware that this is what she will be expecting. We can't expect kids that age to sit still.
