DSA 2012
-
[Hi Leeven,
My child is due to register for P1 next yr for 2014. However, as I have not much knowledge abt the primary school education system, I am trying to learn as much as possible, including primary school registrations and so on to prepare myself and child at same time.
So far, the forum here has been very informative, except for times whereby I may not understand certain terms. So please pardon me when I ask silly questions at times.
Hope all will get the COs you wanted!!!! I can feel the joys and empathise with the disappointments of the parents here, for I also want and hope for the best for my kid as well.
cheers[/quote]
Welcome Dino. No Silly questions. I just want to understand what level is ure kid to answer accordingly.
And you fit for this KP site ya , started worrying now itself.

Hi Leeven,
Haha actually as matter of fact, I am really starting to worry cos all the primary schools that I wanted rejected my PV applications or are not within 1 km.
But well, life goes on. take 1 step at a time.
Anyhow 1 thing for sure, all the kids mentioned here in this DSA forum are all like genius after reading the postings here for some time. Almost all seems to get what they wanted. Impressive!!!
cheers -
Some girls are going for tea session at NYGH tomorrow. This is really not helping to calm my nerves.

I called NYGH this morning and the person informed me that the letters to applicants wil be sent out today. Will probably reach them by tommorrow or Thurs. She also inform me that there will not be any tea session for those applying through academic or GEP.
HI Jon101, thanks for sharing.
Hopefully the letters are mailed out before late evening then we can receive by tomorrow afternoon.
And hopefully they do change their mind to send by email too.
Counting down to the last 30 hours otherwise will be 30+24=54 hours of waiting.

Can we tell them don't need to post out the letters. We can collect from them personally. :please: :please: :please: -

Hi Glorymum!
My dd just told me that her classmate's mother had also called NYGH and they told her that they would be sending out the letters on Wed same as what they told me yesterday when I called up. If this is the case, we might not received our letters tomorrow. I wonder by now, have they posted out the letters :? :? :? If you pass by NYGH later, can you go in and ask them and if they have not posted the letters, you can just collect yours from them.

Oh no, they changed their mind about mailing out today??
Maybe they are sending out after the tea reception with those under sports to confirm their acceptance??
I wish I could stop waiting.
Should have gone into nygh just now. -
:congrats: Congrats to all KSPs and DCs who have received COs, WLs and Provisional Offers. And all the best to all the other KSPs like me who are STILL WAITING :xedfingers: :xedfingers:
